Jackets Down Murrah On Senior Night

STARKVILLE - Sophomore Santiago Ramirez-Ortega tallied a pair of goals to lead Starkville to a 4-1 win over Murrah on Senior Night at Yellow Jacket Stadium.

The Jackets erased an early 1-0 deficit to post the Region 2 win over the Mustangs. Ramirez-Ortega's first goal equalized the match before his second goal of the contest gave SHS the lead before halftime.

On a night that the oprogram honored the senior class, a pair of seniors collected goals in win. Seniors Cole Sarrette and Jackson Eaves added insurance goals late in the second half.

The Jackets travel to Clinton on Tuesday, Jan. 20 before returning home to face Germantown on Thursday, Jan. 22 on the SHS cmpus.
